    Biography

    Smt. Adarini Kanjilal Biswas is currently working an Assistant Professor(Stage II) at Department of Histoty, Sarojini Naidu College For Women,Kolkata-700028,West Bengal, India. She is a graduate in History from Gobardanga Hindu College affiliated to Calcutta University academic session ( 1991-1994) and Master of Arts in History from Calcutta University in 1994 -1996.She received her M. Phill degree from Calcutta University in 2006.She was selected for Assistant Professor through College Service Commission, West Bengal and joined as Assistant Professor in Department of History, Sarojini Naidu College For Women on 22July 2008.She served as Head of the Department from 2010-2012 and 2016 to 2018. Her research interest in the field of downtrodden people ,Matua Field.
