On 6th and 9th August 1945, the two cities in Japan – Hiroshima and Nagasaki were consecutively bombed which killed 1,40,000 people. In the history of humanity it is remember as the black day.

On 6th August 2015, Sarojini Naidu College for women organized talks and lectures from the teachers and students of the college for promotion of unity among citizens of the world and condemned any future use of nuclear weapon.
