Dr. Shailendra Mani Pradhan
Department of Political Science
Dr. Shailendra M. Pradhan is Assistant Professor of Political Science at Sarojini Naidu College for Women, Kolkata, India. He completed his PhD from the Centre for the Study of Law and Governance, Jawaharlal Nehru University, New Delhi, India. His PhD research was focused on the World Bank funded housing reconstruction in the post-Uttarakhand disaster of 2013. Currently, he is working on social and political studies of disasters, peace and violence, politics of sustainable development, and social movements.
