Biography

Dr. Madhuban Maji is an Assistant professor in the Department of Anthropology, Sarojini Naidu college for women, Kolkata since 6th August 2019.She completed B.Sc. in Anthropology from Narasinha Dutt college, Howrah and M.Sc. in Anthropology with specialization Prehistoric archaeology and palaeoanthropology from the University of Calcutta. Dr. Maji got her PhD from the University of Calcutta. The topic of her doctoral thesis is ‘A study among the conch shell workers of West Bengal ‘. Before joining here, she worked as a Government Approved Part time teacher in the Department of Anthropology, Haldia Government College, Purba Medinipur (2005-2019).
