Dr. Krishna Roy is currently the HOD of the Department of Business Administration (Tourism, Aviation, and Hospitality) Of Sarojini Naidu College for Women. She was awarded Ph. D degree in the year 2019 from the prestigious Commonwealth Vocational University, the Kingdom of Tonga in Management. Her area of Interest includes Marketing Management, Entrepreneurship Development, Human Resource Management, and Consumer Behavior. She has published a number of articles in various Journals and also has participated in several international conferences as the invited speaker. Dr. Roy is not only an eminent Academician but also a profound Social Activist. She is Associated with Udaan for five years and facilitates Financial assistance to hundreds of students in continuing their UG, PG, and Higher studies. She is also engaged in providing theatre therapy to the inmates of Correctional homes and works as the Guest Faculty, ‘Personality Development’, with the philosophy of ‘bringing them back to life’. Further, she also serves the ailing patients of Thakurpukur Cancer Society and Vedanta Ashram with great dedication. She is a trained mountaineer and represented India in Expeditions climbing to a height of 25000 ft.
